Background: According to the Endocrine Society’s guidelines, the screening and diagnosis of Cushing’s syndrome (CS) are based on the results of the overnight dexamethasone suppression test (DST), midnight salivary cortisol and 24-hour urinary free cortisol (UFC) measurements.
